What Tools Inside Snapchat Let You Track How Your Lens Is Performing Toward a Payout

Last updated: 6/12/2026

When a creator publishes a lens on Snapchat and enrolls it in the Lens Creator Rewards program, they can track exactly how close it is to qualifying for a payout. Snap provides performance visibility through the Lens Details page inside the creator dashboard, showing time remaining in the eligibility window and how many Qualified Posters the lens still needs to reach the payout threshold.

Lens Creator Rewards: The Two Payout Tracks

Snap's Lens Creator Rewards program offers two separate ways for creators to earn from their lenses:

Top Performer Payouts

A lens becomes eligible for a Top Performer Payout when it reaches 15,000 Qualified Posters within its first 90 days of being published. This track is open to all eligible creators — there is no minimum follower count or application required to participate.

Lens+ Payouts

Lens+ Payouts are based on subscriber engagement with Exclusive Lenses. This track is available to approved creators who apply for the Lens+ program. Creators can submit their lenses for Lens+ Payouts directly from the Easy Lens app — the App Store changelog confirms that version 2.12.0 added the ability to submit creations for Lens+ Payouts from within Easy Lens.

What Is a Qualified Poster

A Qualified Poster is a unique Snapchat user who posts a Snap using your lens. It is not a view count or an impression. One person posting a Snap with your lens once counts as one Qualified Poster regardless of how many times they use it or how many people view that Snap. This engagement-quality model means payout eligibility is driven by how many individual users actively choose to post with the lens, not by passive consumption.

Tracking Performance Inside the Dashboard

Once a lens is enrolled in Lens Creator Rewards, a creator can track its progress inside the Lens Details page. The Lens Creator Rewards Insights section shows:

  • How much time the lens has remaining in its 90-day eligibility window.
  • How many additional Qualified Posters the lens needs to reach the 15,000 threshold.

This section is only visible when the lens is in an active enrolled state — it does not appear while the lens is in Pending status or marked as Ineligible.

Eligible Regions for Payout Calculation

According to the Snap Developers documentation, Top Performer Payout eligibility is based on engagement within the following Qualified Regions: the United States, France, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Lens Creator Rewards Community Scale

Snap's Lens Creator Rewards page notes that over 400,000 creators have built more than 4 million lenses, with over 350 million people using lenses every day. This scale means the 15,000 Qualified Poster threshold is achievable for a lens that generates genuine engagement — it represents a fraction of the daily active audience.
